After you’ve filled in the worksheet with all the important details and you’re ready to write the press release, keep these three tips for writing a professional news release in mind:
- Hook your readers – use an attention-grabbing title
- Keep it brief – your entire press release, including contact information, should be a single page
- Provide a contact for follow-ups – include the name and title of the person responsible for answering questions or arranging media appearances related to the subject of the release.
